First days

Posted in Travel at 5:01 pm

We arrived in Mexico City after a long but easy flight and were greeted by someone who took us to get the bus that would eventually get us to San Miguel. The day was long but fairly easy. We arrived at the house around 6 PM, tired but happy to be here in San Miguel again.
This photo is of a house that we walked by yesterday.

The house we are staying in is pretty amazing. It belongs to Sara and Ed who we met last year and they are currently in Asia until the end of July. Link at the end of this writing.

The view from the balcony.

We are overlooking the city and I’m glad we have been here a number of times before.
I’m quite happy to stay at the house and study spanish and play guitar and read. Trish has started yoga again and I started Spanish immediately.

As the time goes I’ll be posting photos and links for you to see what I’m seeing and experiencing.
So stay tuned and check back regularly for updates.

    Derek and Tricia…
    It’s just not fair..
    You’re only a STORYTELLER..
Storytellers aren’t supposed to be able to live like that..
I suppose you’re doing some other unmentionable business..
    in other words..
Congratulations for having found your Heaven on earth.. you can now tell fairystories with great endings that are TRUE..
and keep it coming to us.. we all need reminding that the world outside can be quite beautiful..
I won’t send pics of our home in Sound Beach, or write about what I did(n’t) today or yesterday..

    walk good (and steep)..
