Luis Felipe Edwards Shiraz
Another beautiful late summer day here, hot almost and we took a walk around the Jamaica Pond. The leaves have not started really turning yet though there are trees that are hinting at it.

This 2001 Gran Reserve Shiraz captured my heart about a year ago and I bought a case from Trade Joe’s though they are out of it now. However there are two bottles or so left in the cellar and it is a winner for sure. Around $12.00 a bottle it is a superb wine. Full of ripe flavors it doesn’t lack anywhere. Hints of vanilla and blackberry fruit and laced with oak and pepper. This wine is almost too easy to drink and if you live Shiraz you would love this wine. This Chilean wine taste almost like a French Syrah style rather than the Australian Shiraz.
