Before we leave the year alone

Its been awhile since I’ve added to the weblog and now that I’m over being sick and out of bed I’m back to feeling up to writing and photographing. Its been a nice and quiet time. It was a simple cold that started on Christmas eve and took its course and unfortunately I missed Junkanoo but am planning on going for New Year’s day so watch for photos as well as video.

We are about to leave the old year and move into a new one and many of us will make those resolutions that go the way of most things with great intent. I never make them but look forward to new year’s evening when a group of us get together to have a lovely meal, good wine and champagne and then before the year passes we go out in the boat and watch fireworks over the water, then come home to get ready for Junkanoo that begins at 1 AM.

Its been a beautiful week weather wise here. Christmas day came and left and I floated through it and survived. Today we took a walk along the ocean after going to visit David’s new house that is being built. Then a visit to Liz and Larry’s. Here are a few photos to add to the site.

I seem to be on the ever two day posting schedule at the moment. I am mostly posting photos at this point with a little writing.
