What a wonderful surprise to read this blog. Robert and Kitty are my first cousins. The images of Judy and Mattie have me a bit in awe, although have seen these images with my own eyes, many times.
Our grandfather ran a sheep ranch in the Ruby Mountains of Nevada, even now I am documenting the southern sheep camp as a national historic site. Robert mentioned the show to me, and I believe I missed his email, I am happy to have stumbled upon this site… now many people in the country will fall in love with them as I always have been.

Lucky you! Now you have all the e-mail etc for free. We Swiss people would be happy to do the same thing but its not possible. We would even love to spend only $ 15.... Our charge is about 3 times higher! Last week I cancelled my ADSL line as Im linked to Chris's. What I didnt know, is that a silly bugger had the great idea to link my e-mail address to this contract... (which was not the case in the past). So now you can imagine: I couldnt log on, couldnt get to my mail, and the technical help told me, that he couldnt do anything for me, as I didnt have an existing e-mail address.... On top of that, I was travelling for 2 days and was only able to try to fix the whole thing on Monday morning. Nobody wanted to be able to re-install my address, so I had to start all over again, applying for my new/old address, fill out all the silly questions, re-configure the dial-up numbers etc... Result: I lost 4 days worth of mail (by the way, this is my business e-mail....), half a day of phone calls and re-setting of the whole thing, like I had nothing better to do.
But Im glad to see that all the administrations are the same and that we have to pay the price for it!

Greetings from rainy Geneva!

Hi,

I found your site while searching for Paracho guitars. How much did your guitar cost when you bought it directly from the maker? Is it generally cheaper to buy directly from the builder?

thanks,
Mark
